Éilis Murray – Chief Executive
With almost 30 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector with a range of NGO’s, Éilis is passionate about the role and value of a robust civil society. Prior to joining Philanthropy Ireland, Éilis worked as an Organisational Development Consultant, providing services on strategic planning, project development. In an earlier role as Enterprise Development Manager with the local authority, she had responsibility for supporting and mentoring a portfolio of social enterprise start-ups in West Dublin. Holding an MA in Philanthropic Studies Éilis is a firm believer in the value of philanthropy and the contribution it can make to society. Committed to knowledge exchange and collaboration, she participates in DAFNE, the Donor and Foundations Network of Europe and is on the board of Oakfield Trust.
Niamh Maguire – Membership and Communications Executive
Having undertaken an internship with Philanthropy Ireland in 2017, Niamh has re-joined Philanthropy Ireland in February 2020 as Membership & Communications Executive. Niamh is responsible for overseeing Membership, Communications and Events. Prior to Philanthropy Ireland, Niamh has worked in various roles in the charity sector including Grants Officer with The Ireland Funds and in politics as Membership & Fundraising Assistant with Fine Gael. Niamh holds a B.A. in Business Administration from TUD and a M.A. in International Relations from DCU.
Louise Barrett- Administrations and Communications
Louise has been with Philanthropy Ireland since October 2019 working in administration and communications. Louise holds a BSocSc in Sociology and Social Policy from UCD and has just completed a level 6 certificate in Human Resource Management. Prior to graduating in 2019, Louise worked in retail and hospitality, holding both sales and managerial roles.
