The money raised by the Irish Youth Foundation is distributed each year to organisations whose applications for funding are approved by the Trustees, having first being assessed by a committee of experts in the area of children’s needs. In 2007/2008 alone, 104 groups from all around the country shared a fund of €1,040,000 to work with children and young people in need.
